Himalayan Mountain Bike Festival started back in 2014 and defined celebration of world-class mountain biking in India by organizing multiple mountain biking events for professional and passionate riders around the globe. This event took the mountain biking culture of India to the next level and also encouraged the athletes to enhance their riding skills.
The 5th Himalayan Mountain Bike Festival which was originally scheduled for October 2018 was cancelled due to unfortunate floods and landslides in Himachal Pradesh. This natural calamity affected the event and participation forcing the organizers to push the event for next season.
The 5th Himalayan Mountain Bike Festival is now scheduled from 3rd to 6th October 2019 and the registrations are already open!
The event will host Himalayan BMX Comp in association with SharpTune followed by one of the most technical XC Mountain Bike race of India better known as Himalayan Trails-n-Dust Mountain Bike Challenge. The 9th edition of this race will be held in Solang Valley on 4th October 2019.
The 5th Himalayan Mountain Bike Festival will also host the 1st enduro mountain bike race of India on 5th October: Himalayan Enduro Championship
The Himalayan Enduro Championship will be a one day multiple stage enduro mountain bike race and is expected to start from Gulaba situated at 9500Ft above sea level with 3 to 4 technical stages.
The final event “Himalayan Downhill Mountain Bike Trophy” is one of the most gnarliest DH race of India which is organized at Ski Himalayas Mountain Bike Park in Solang Valley. The race is scheduled for October 6th 2019. The new trail will be re-built again with new features which includes massive gaps and sculpted trails with jaw-dropping back drops full of pristine Himalayan peaks.
5th Himalayan Mountain Bike Festival (2019) will also host fun riding activities like Bicycle Rally for all age and abilities, Obstacle course for the visitors and audience which will also allow them to win exciting goodies, Traditional dance, bonfire, barbecue and more.
