Friday, April 08, 2016 | Asian Enduro Series – Nepal | Stage 1,2 and 3
The Asian Enduro Series in Nepal is shaping up to be quite a show and everybody is having a wild time in the Himalayas. “This is what we’ve been waiting for since a very long time” said wild Rajesh Magar who was spotted pinning (as usual) every stage today. Sponsored by Yeti Bikes, Himalayan Rides Nepal this brilliant rider got a new sponsorship added to his list by Race Face.
Nepal’s Chris Keeling had a good start but was not too happy and plans to recover in the remaining stages.
Stage one start was very smooth for all the racers.
Suman Tamang had a good day on light brown pow conditions but wished he had a regular 26” wheel instead of the recently acquired 29 wheel monster.
Meanwhile Herman Mann from Singapore was rolling proudly on his 650B+ and had no complains. This is 2nd Enduro mountain bike race and is getting hooked to it more than DH racing. Unfortunately Hermann took a wrong turn in one of the stage today which costed him 25 seconds.
His team mate Boey was right behind him on stage 3.
Just another “leaning” photo of the day.
Wendell Barba from Philippines shredding in his preferred angle of trajectory.
Managla Lama cruising back to have a beer.
…and so does Robert Spinks.
Nishant Shah. Another rider who has a bright future in the sport.
