Pumping out the city lockdown blues, riders from Kohima, Nagaland came together and put up a casual pump track race on one of the only pump tracks of Kohima city, on Saturday.
With travel restrictions going on, a small number of local riders joined in for the weekend. The race consisted of two runs. Run 1 with ‘3 Laps’ and Run 2 with ‘5 Laps’.
After a cloudy morning of timed runs, the winner – Kevilebo Zotso went home with currency notes in his bag!

5th – Benny Metha – 58:93 sec
No sponsors, no funding, no flashy beverage trucks or balloons in sight, this race was organised by the riders who dig, riders who ride! Taking on the Race Directors task were Atso Chase and Neikesa Samuel while the race results were coordinated by Vetuyi Keyho. They are hoping to conduct more fun gatherings in the future.
