Weather and the riding scene in Maharashtra, India are heating up right now. GHV Endeavor Trail, pump track is the newest addition to the growing number of well-designed pump tracks in India. Green Home Villas is ground zero to this new dirt pack. Only a few miles from Mumbai city, the GHV Endeavor Trail pump track will add more bike hours for the Mumbai and Pune riders.
We caught up with Mohammad, the man behind GHV Endeavor Trail.

FRMTB: What is Green Home Villas? Where is it located?
Mohammad: Green Home Villas is a premium master plan gates community, created as an ideal gateway for Weekend Home. It’s located in an unexplored location within the vicinity of Barvi Lake reservoir in Taluka Murbad District Thane just two hours drive from Mumbai City Centre and four hours drive from Pune.
FRMTB: How did a pump track come into your plan?
Mohammad: Unavailability made us to think on this line. We at GHV aim to facilitate sports which are commonly not available in the region.
FRMTB: Who designed the track and executed the build?
Mohammad: Feeling proud to say our Mentor Cyclist Satish Diwedi helped us to design the track and ground execution was handled by our Director Kamran Shaykh.
FRMTB: How much soil was moved in to pack in the GHV Endeavor Trail, over how many days and how many people were working on ground?
Mohammad: Soil, soil and lots of soil which you will see once you will visit the place. Being a dirt pump track we have to involve many skilled as well un-skilled workers, more precisely not less than 10 at any point of time. JCB | Tractors | Roller and many equipments were used to get the work done; it took us two months to come to this stage.
FRMTB: What kind of features are included on the track?
Mohammad: Making the Only Dirt Pump Track in India with features like elevated launcher connecting 8 lanes with 12 Berms, Table Tops, Rollers, Dirt Jumps & Bowl.
FRMTB: When is the official opening day of the GHV Endeavor Trail?
Mohammad: We are working on it, you will hear from us soon!
FRMTB: Other than the pump track, what facilities can a visiting rider expect at GHV?
Mohammad: We have an option of renting a villa or staying in a camping tent, swimming pool, jacuzzi, landscaped garden, jungle hiking, indoor and outdoor games, authentic Indian food, bonfire with barbeque and more.
FRMTB: Would you consider adding some concrete features for skateboarders and BMX riders?
Mohammad: Our vision is heading towards a skill and adventure park which includes Cross Country & Down Hill Cycling, Skate Park for BMX & Skateboard, Kids Golf Course, Horse Riding, Adventure sports like wall climbing, zip-lining and many more.
FRMTB: What’s in store for the GHV Endeavor Trail for 2019?
Mohammad: Fingers crossed, let’s get the first event done before the end of June’19 and will make sure riders will get to enjoy added features on intervals.
