The world is stoked ever since custom Nukeproof Mega was spotted on Sam Hill’s Instagram feed couple of days ago.

This is the custom Nukeproof Mega that Team CRC Mavic rider Sam Hill will race on at this weekend’s Downhill World Champs in Cairns, Australia

Sam’s World Champs bike appears to be a very similar setup to the bike that currently leads the EWS series. The prototype Mega 275C has a carbon front triangle and uses an aluminum rear, one-of-a-kind custom painted in glittered green and gold.

The Australian outlaw will be the first rider to go full enduro in World cup circuit.

The Nukeproof Mega is equipped with RockShox Lyrik/Super Deluxe suspension, Reverb dropper post, Mavic DeeMax wheels, and SRAM Guide brakes with 200mm rotors. A larger chainring coupled with  SRAM X01 DH 7-speed drivetrain is an interesting combination.

Sam might also use his signature Nukeproof pedals during the race and we are equally excited to see the results.

Sam Hill won the 2010 world championships in Mont Saint Anne and  the 2007 and 2009 UCI Elite Men’s Downhill World Cup (Overall). It seems he’s fully prepared for 2017 now.

Stay tuned for more updates.
