2020, downhill mountain biking has officially been included in the Indian National Mountain Bike Championship by the Cycling Federation of India. After years of contemplating, the CFI agreed to flag off the DH Nationals. Previously in 2017 and 2018, Downhill was introduced at the National MTB Championship in its demo status. Event Alert | 16th Indian National MTB Championship 2020

Coming up this month, February 20th – 22nd in Haldwani, Uttarakhand is the 16th National Mountain Bike Championship. Included in the championship would be, Cross Country – Elite Men and Women, U-23, Juniors. Adding to the excitement, Cycling Federation of India will be including “Downhill” as well. Indian National XC/DH team selections for 13th South Asian Games 2019

The 13th South Asian Games 2019 is scheduled to take place from December 1st to 10th in Kathmandu and Pokhara, Nepal. Seven nations will be participating in the 13th SAG. Nepal, Pakistan, Maldives, Sri Lanka, Bhutan, Bangladesh and India will fight it out for the top spots. For 2019, Indian Cross Country and Downhill MTB team will be entering the competition.
